The Governor of Massachusetts enacted a set of travel regulations that would require any person traveling to Massachusetts to either self-quarantine for 14 days or be tested upon arrival and be quarantined until the results are returned.

There are a few states excluded, New England, New York, New Jersey, and Hawaii. The regulation carries a $500 per day fine if not followed.

With this new regulation, we think it is impossible to deliver the experience that is Masonic Con.

As many of you know, this was to be the last year at Ezekiel Bates Lodge before heading North under the care of Ryan Flynn.

I have spoken with Ryan and the officers of Ezekiel Bates Lodge and we have decided to push Masonic Con 2020 to the first Saturday in May, May 1, 2021.

The event will be held at Ezekiel Bates Lodge and follow the previous plans.

As you can imagine, this is a huge disappointment for me and the Brothers of Ezekiel Bates Lodge, but at the same time, this is likely the best decision for us all as we battle against the new Anti-Masonic threat, COVID-19.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns please let me know.

Fraternally,
Bryan Simmons
