The records of Cumberland Lodge no. 8 in Tennessee, June 8, 1819, show a reception for Monroe as “a Brother of the Craft.” possibly a Master Mason in 1776.

5th President of the United States of America

Monroe was the last president who was a Founding Father of the United States.

He was wounded in the Battle of Trenton with a musket ball to his shoulder.
