Castle Island Virtual Lodge #190 Joint Meeting<\/strong><\/p>\n Wednesday, August 29, 2018<\/p>\n 7:00 P.M Open Lodge in Main Lodge .<\/p>\n 7:30 P.M. Set up in Tower Lodge<\/p>\n Special Communication granted by dispensation from the Grand Master of Masons in Massachusetts, Most Worshipful Paul Gleason.<\/p>\n Ezekiel Bates Lodge will open short form at 7:00 P.M. in the main lodge room then retire to the air conditioned Tower Lodge where we will link up with Castle Island Virtual Lodge #190 for their business meeting.<\/p>\n Castle Island Virtual Lodge #190 meets under the Grand Lodge of Manitoba.<\/p>\n Entered Apprentices welcome, jacket and tie required.<\/p>\n Please note, the dispensation states no du guards or signs are to be given while cameras are on.<\/p>\n Agenda<\/p>\n 1) Opening of the Lodge Meeting Information:<\/p>\n Make sure you get along to the next regular meeting of the Castle Island Virtual Lodge #190 to be held from 7:30pm on Wednesday 29 August 2018.<\/p>\n Our next meeting promises to be another thought provoking and enjoyable evening of discussion and education as we hear from our Junior Deacon, Brother Jack Aquilina (of Victoria Australia) about the future of freemasonry and the path ahead with the presentation of his masonic research paper ”Completing our allotted task whilst it is yet day”.<\/p>\n Find out more about Brother Jack’s paper below and be a part of another special night that will bring together our brethren and friends from every continent around the world to enjoy one of the world most unique masonic experiences.<\/p>\n Quick Facts: More about our guest presenter, Bro Jack’s paper<\/strong> In April 2018, Bro Jack Aquilina presented a paper to The Victorian Lodge of Research No 218 entitled ‘Completing our allotted task whilst it is yet day’. Brother Jack is now invited to present his paper and host discussion with attending brethren on 29 August 2018 at CIVL.<\/p>\n About the Paper:<\/strong><\/p>\n Freemasonry is experiencing tumultuous change, so what are the causes of the challenges we face and what are the principles that should underpin our future success? Our State President will provide a comprehensive presentation of his significant body of research that has informed his submissions of ‘principle pillars’ that should underpin a modern, forward looking craft.<\/p>\n
