Brother Roy Brown<\/strong><\/p>\n December 23rd 1893 \u2013 March 9th 1944<\/span><\/p>\n Member of:<\/p>\n St. John’s Lodge #63<\/a> Carleton Place, Ontario, Canada<\/p>\n Canadian World War I flying ace.The Royal Air Force<\/a> officially credited Brown with shooting down Manfred von Richthofen<\/a>, the “Red Baron”. What is less well known is that Brown never lost a pilot in his flight during combat, a rare distinction for an air unit commander of that war.
