The records of Cumberland Lodge no. 8<\/a> in Tennessee, June 8, 1819, show a reception for Monroe as \u201ca Brother of the Craft.\u201d possibly a Master Mason in 1776.<\/p>\n

5th President of the United States of America<\/p>\n

Monroe was the last president who was a Founding Father of the United States.<\/p>\n

He was wounded in the Battle of Trenton<\/a> with a musket ball to his shoulder.<\/p>\n
