Brother John Steinbeck<\/strong><\/p>\n February 27th 1902 \u2013 December 20th 1968<\/span><\/p>\n Member of:<\/p>\n Salinas Lodge # 204 Salinas, California<\/p>\n American author of twenty-seven books, including sixteen novels, six non-fiction books, and five collections of short stories. He is widely known for the comic novels Tortilla Flat<\/a> (1935) and Cannery Row<\/a>, the multi-generation epic East of Eden<\/a>, and the novellas Of Mice and Men<\/a>\u00a0 and The Red Pony<\/a>.
